Mitrais held the 3rd Consultant Induction Program in its Bali head quarters in October 2009. The new consultants are from the Medical System and Mining Solutions division based in Bali. The program prepares new consultants for pursuing their career as professional consultants and provides them with the basic skills in consulting services.

Inductees Q4 2009

The induction course consists of 3 parts :

• The general induction covers company competencies and policies including internal systems, the remuneration policy and procedures, presentation skills, problem solving skills and professional work ethics.
• The job family competencies including design solutions, application consulting, project management overview and business process modeling. and
• The specific software product for each division; the Mining Solutions' consultant learn about Ellipse with a general overview of all modules, while Medical Consultant are introduced to the Mitrais Medical Suite (M-MS).

The next induction course schedule for Consultant will be released at a closer date.

The Induction Course gave us a brief look at the project flow in Mitrais, the consulting job, and MMS application itself. We were introduced to how a project is run in Mitrais, from the pre-sales, exploring client requirements, development of the product, through to implementation at client’s site.
We were given materials about the nature of the consulting job, which we need to know to perform everyday tasks and how to manage the clients
Finally, we were introduced to the Mitrais Medical Suite, which we later will enhance and implement to client sites.
Training was delivered effectively by qualified and experienced trainers. Inductees were encouraged to participate actively in discussion, and to practice applying the materials in a real-life setting with scenarios. Overall, the Induction Course has been very helpful.”
